Guest Instructors:
Each year, we invite a guest instructor to our Clog Camp. In the past we have had the "famous" Brandon Norris (from MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and So You Think You Can Dance) and Mary Bolster (former Appalachian Rhythm Clogger and scholarship clogger at Mars Hill College on the National Championship Team, Bailey Mountain Cloggers).
This past summer our special guest instructor was Kayla Kiser Faver. Kayla has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has performed at the Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach, Walt Disney World's Magic Music Days, Tweetsie Railroad and Dixie Stampede. She holds numerous titles such as Clogging Champions of America (CCA) Choreographed Solo and Duo Grand Champion with partner, Brandon Norris (who has taught at two of our previous camps). Kayla has been an elected member of the CCA All-Pro team for so many years that she was recently inducted into the CCA All-Pro Legends! She is also on the All-American team for American Clogging Hall of Fame (ACHF). She currently teaches clogging at Xtreme Dance Company in Bristol, VA. We are so happy to have her with us at Camp this year!
