Appalachian Rhythm
The Story of Appalachian Rhythm

AppRhythm was started in 2006 by Ashley Payne and
Elise Sigmon. They had been clogging for nearly their
whole lives and it had been a dream of theirs to one day
start their own clogging studio.

In August 2006, their dream came true when they opened
Appalachian Rhythm Clogging & Dance.

They currently have nearly 100 students and 5 instructors
in clogging, hip hop, cheerleading and Pilates but it didn't
start out that way! They have grown tremendously in just
two years and are thankful for all their dancers and
dancers' parents for trusting them to teach the art of
dance each week.

accomplishments. We take this job seriously and expect
no less than hard work and dedication from our students."
